Artist Bio
Hi, and thank you for taking an intrest in my work! I'm Cara, a tattoo artist in Ontario, Canada. I started my apprenticeship in 2018, and I've been tattooing since 2019. I work out of Hollow Oak Tattoo with a group of awesome and hardworking artists. Besides tattooing, my other main mediums are watercolour painting / mixed media and digital art.
My style is influenced by neo traditional and illustrative tattooing, as well as early 2000s manga and anime, and general kawaii culture. I started out making traditional tattoos, and you can see that reflected in my current work, though the themes are far from traditional. I adore colour and contrast, clashing a bold style of tattooing with delicate imagery and soft sparkles. With my work, I hope to provide not only a great tattoo, but a great experience for each of my clients.
